The Grainger-Hill Performing Arts Center is sponsoring its third annual, four-part winter series bringing Broadway-quality entertainers to the PAC.
Each night of the series begins at 6:30 p.m. with pre-performance receptions featuring a variety of heavy hors d'oeuvres and beverages for the patrons' pleasure.
The concerts, in a nightclub-type atmosphere - all on the Grainger-Hill stage, will follow at 8 p.m., for approximately 1½ hours. Because everything is on stage, only 140 tickets can be sold for the series.

 | January 26 Wendy Hayes & Rachel Smith - "Peggy, Rosemary & Us" Saturday January 26, at the Grainger Hill Performing arts Center
The concert is a tribute to the great singers Peggy Lee and Rosemary Clooney. Hayes and Smith describe the “show” as a Las Vegas style headliner act complete with songs and a little patter. “It is like a concert but laid back,” Smith said. “We try to get the audience involved, to feel relaxed and have a great time.” With songs such as, “Fever”, “Come on a My House”, and “Why Don’t You Do Right?” audiences will be transported back to a time where pop music was sometimes novel, sometimes sexy, and lyrics were almost always understood. |

He directed “Fame” for the Cape Fear Regional Theater; the world premiere of ‘Pompeii” for World Theatrical Productions Inc.; and “Gypsy,” “Cinderella,” “Nine” and “Sweet Charity” for Opera House Theater Company in Wilmington. |
